How to add your signature to a PDF document using your smartphone? We got you covered! Using your smartphone you can facilitate many remote tasks such as scanning a document using your phone and signing it. We deal with digital documents every day, but what do you do when you get a digital document you need to sign? We will show you how to do that using your iPhone or Android smartphone here.
If you are using an iPhone, Ipad, or Ipod touch follow these steps:
First of all start by opening your Mail app and tapping the compose button to start a new email if you want to send a document from your phone, or reply to an existing email.
Now tap inside the body of your email, then tap or tap Return to open the format bar. You can also tap inside your email, then tap the cursor and select Insert Photo or Video or Add Attachment. You might need to tap the arrow button to scroll through the options.
Then, tap the camera button or the document button , then look for the photo or PDF that you want to attach and mark up.
Now tap the attachment, then tap .
Tap Markup to add your markup. Tap the plus button to add a signature, text, and more.
Once you’re done, you can now send your email with an e-signed attached document.
If you are using an Android smartphone follow these steps:
First of all, you need to download a signing app from your Google Store, and we suggest you download Adobe Reader which is easy, simple, and free to use.
Once the app has finished downloading, open it, and go through the initial setup process. When it’s ready, start by opening your PDF document in the application itself. Or you can go directly to the PDF file and select Adobe Reader as the program to open it.
You now start by tapping the pen icon at the bottom right of your application screen, and then tap on “Fill & Sign?” Now tap on the fountain pen tip icon, and then tap on “Create Signature.” Sign your signature using your finger in the “Sign Here” section and tap on “Done.”
Once you’re done, tap on the fountain pec icon once again, and then tap on the signature you just created. Now, tap anywhere on the PDF document to place your signature. Tap and hold your finger down on the signature, and then drag it to where you’d like it to be permanently set.
Now tap the check-mark at the top-left corner and you’re done! The PDF document you just signed can now be used any way you’d like.
